For the first time in modern history, our children view the future with fear rather than hope. The promise of a better tomorrow is slipping away as society normalizes violence toward people, animals, nature, and the planet itself.

But we are not powerless: neuroscience proves our brains are wired for empathy, and research shows empathy can be taught and strengthened at any age.

Yet, global emotional intelligence has dropped 5.5% since 2019, and 61% of Americans sense less compassion around them. The need for empathy-based solutions is urgent—online searches for “compassionate inquiry” have surged 4,000% in five years. Read more
